Eminem joins Drake on stage for surprise hometown appearance at Detroit show

In the picture Em posted, he captioned it, “Views from the Joe”, and though the place Drake is performing tonight is called the Joe Louis Arena, some are taking it as a double entendre – and knowing how clever Marshall is, you can’t blame them.

The rapper promised the crowd and surprise, with Eminem rising up from a platform beneath the stage. The two immediately launched into Drake’s song, “Forever”.

Drake – who bowed down to the Sing For The Moment pioneer – introduced him as he said: “Detroit, make some noise for the greatest rapper that ever got on a motherf***ing microphone – he goes by the name of Eminem”. Drake then proceeded to bow to his idol.

According the paper, Drake hinted earlier in the show that this would be a special show.
