During the Pennsylvania rally, Giuliani fired up the crowd by saying that there was never a “successful radical Islamic terrorist attack inside the United States”, before President Obama took office in 2008.

This is not the first time a Republican speaker has appeared to airbrush the deadly September 11 attack out of a conversation.

“In the context in which I said it, where I explained the two prior attacks, including the attack during the Bush administration, of course I do”, Giuliani said.
