Got a spare 50 minutes for a Final Fantasy 15 gameplay video?
Lastly, their prequel to Final Fantasy XV, Kingsglaive is coming out soon so Square Enix thought it best to show off the first 12 minutes of their action-packed animation film, starring Sean Bean, Aaron Paul, and Lena Headey. Will you be picking up Final Fantasy XV when it launches on November 29?

As the director and lead of this project, I wish to personally apologize for the additional wait.
The new date will allow the development teams time to further polish and conduct quality testing so that the reality of the game can match the expectations of both the fans and the creative teams. The video demonstrates the first few hours of the game starting with Prince Noctis and his crew defending their city from a gang of thieves trying to steal the kingdom’s crystal. As a fan-base we understand, or at least we should, that delays can unexpectedly happen. This also means that Square Enix won’t be moving forward with the development of Kingdom Hearts 3 until next year.
There’s a variety of different weapons available to use, too, and you can drive a auto or ride a Chocobo to get around the environment that is completely free to roam as you please.
It would be nice to see the dynamics at play between Ignis and Noctis. What does the demo entail?
In all seriousness, the game looks great in my mind.

Camping for free or sleeping in a hotel is the only way to bank all the experience points you’ve accumulated from a day’s worth of battling and it’s a spot on example of how this game retains the iconic Final Fantasy charm of yesteryear. The frame rate takes a hit whenever you use magic, and the camera angles are a complete nightmare at times. Other than that, we can’t really complain, although it’s obviously impossible to pass judgement on an entire game by watching just one video – even if it is an especially long clip.
