Australia’s Jedinak joins Aston Villa from Crystal Palace
According to reports from Express and Star, Aston Villa are working to complete Mile Jedinak’s transfer from Crystal Palace today.

Jedinak, Palace’s captain in recent years, has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Alan Pardew and had the armband taken off him in favour of Scott Dann earlier this summer.
Postecoglou backed his Asian Cup-winning captain to shake off any disappointment at moving down a division and continue to be a highly influential player for the national team.
Jedinak will not be available for selection for Villa until his registration with the FA and English Football League is complete.
The Australia global spent five years at Palace, also skippering the side, after joining the club from Turkish club Genclerbirligi in 2011.
He served as captain from 2012 until the end of the 2015-16 season and played a huge role in Palace’s recent successes, most notably the promotion to the Premier League and the subsequent survival in the top flight.

Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo is also expected to allow players to leave with Joleon Lescott close to a switch to Rangers while Gabby Agbonlahor does not feature in the Italian’s plans.
