Return of the Caped Crusaders Trailer Brings Back Adam West, Burt Ward
Picking up where the classic TV series left off, expect West and Ward to be joined by Julie Newmar as they each return to the roles of Batman, Robin, and Catwoman, respectively.

Batman, the 1960s TV show (also known as “Batman ’66”) definitely holds a place in a lot fans hearts young and old.
Given its source material, and judging by the trailer, the tone of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders is the polar opposite of the most recent Batman animated feature, Batman: The Killing Joke. According to, err, Batman, the movie will see the dynamic duo face off against the Joker, the Riddler, Penguin, and Catwoman (with presumably new actors stepping in to replace the dearly departed Cesar Romero, Frank Gorshin, and Burgess Meredith) on Earth and in space.

The trailer for Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders isn’t so much a “trailer”, but rather, a random short created to illustrate the classic-style scenarios in which Batman and Robin will find themselves that always prove detrimentally ostentatious to the villain. Did I really spoil it for you? Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment, when it’s released for Digital HD on October 11th and Blu-Ray on November 1st.
