Simone Biles is living the dream right now – four gold medals in the Rio Olympics, and a kiss from her celebrity crush. Usain Bolt breezed through another sprint as he makes a run at one final Olympic title in his favorite race.
She was so high off the floor, that her rivals would have needed to grow wings if they wanted to catch her – and even then it would not have been enough. “To show your family back home you’re doing something?” Lynn and Rick Raisman were the hits of the London Olympics when their squirming ways were first captured on video. Chloe is a competitive equestrian, Brett is pursuing a business degree at Washington University in St. Louis, and Madison also has an interest in horseback riding.
Efron took his growing appreciation one step further and posed for a photo in front of the Final Five gymnasts -Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian and Biles – shaping his hand into a heart sign.
As for Raisman, the 22-year-old also puts her name in the books, becoming the second-most decorated gymnast of all-time. “Tell me when it’s going”. I didn’t get to sleep until 2 or 3am.
She’d rather let her envelope-pushing performance at Rio Olympic Arena do the talking. After wasting several seconds trying to refasten her sneaker, she tossed it to the side and kept wearing only one shoe.
Russia’s Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina won the synchronized swimming duet competition, extending one of the longest winning streaks in Olympic history. You’re testing out new routines and so it feels frustrating.
“They’re the greatest in their sport”, she said. Click through the gallery to see some of their best photos together. The medals gave their nation six golds and 11 overall during the track cycling program at the Olympic velodrome.

If not for Biles, it may have been Raisman stealing the show at these Games. Fu said her period caused her stomach pains and she struggled during the 400-metre relay, but said it was no excuse for swimming poorly.China came in fourth place, and Fu felt responsible, but fans still praised her for her performance, and for challenging menstrual taboos.
