Samsung teased its new smartwatch, the Samsung Gear 2, which had a round interface.

The September date is hugely significant for Samsung who will hope to persuade potential customers to buy its phones before Apple unveil the new iPhone 6S on September 9. On the camera front, both the devices hold a 5MP f1.

“As per report on Droid Life, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.7” QHD (1440×2560) display and a pixel density of 515ppi. The phones support Cat. 9 front camera, and 3,000 mAh batteries.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users on Sprint have already updated their devices to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop at the start of this month, the global Business Times reported.

After the release of the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S6, Samsung’s operating profits dropped by 38 percent, according to The Wall Street Journal. It’s hard to distinguish it from the Galaxy S6 but for the size; Note 5 being bigger at 5.7-inch screen.

If you live in the Netherlands you’ll be pleased to hear that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge have both dropped their price by about 100 euro.

In addition, the two phablets feature near-field communication (NFC) and magnetic secure transmission (MST), which will be used for Samsung Pay. The devices shall be available in the market by August 2015.

The Note device wouldn’t be complete without its signature S-Pen stylus and the Note 5 doesn’t miss a beat in that too, bringing the new stylus with a host of new features. On the high-end, its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge faced stiff competition from Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 6 and 6 Plus; on the low-end, local Chinese companies such as Xiaomi, Huawei, and ZTE have put up a formidable challenge.

The company also touted its built-in wireless charging capability, meaning that the phones can charge without cords when placed on a charging platform, which is sold separately.
