Teen found grunting, eating face of dead victim, Florida police say
In a freaky video that was posted four days before the murders of John and Michelle Stevens, suspect Austin Harrouff tells the world that he doesn’t need drugs.

Initial drug tests have not found any traces of drugs in Harrouff’s system, although the sheriff added he “wouldn’t be surprised” if a more in-depth analysis revealed Flakka, a strong synthetic psychoactive similar to bath salts. For one thing, police report that Harrouff did not have the elevated body temperature typically associated with flakka use.
A Florida man who is believed to have been on hallucinogenic drugs is accused of fatally stabbing a couple and biting off chunks of the male victim’s face.
The 19-year-old began walking in the direction of his father’s house but came across John Joseph Stevens, 59, and his wife, Michelle Karen Mishcon, 53.
Snyder said Harrouff stormed out of a restaurant where he was having dinner with his family on Monday night, apparently agitated over slow service. His parents were so anxious by his behavior that they called police and some of his fraternity brothers in a futile attempt to find him before the attack.
Authorities say Harouff encountered the couple in their garage and viciously attacked them.
“It’s inexplicable”, Snyder said. I feel like it’s better to really help everybody live a healthy lifestyle and know that I can never stop learning from all.
Friends say Harrouff, who has no criminal record, wouldn’t “hurt a fly.”
The Jupiter, Florida, native attended Suncoast Community High School where he wrestled and played football. “Who knows? But for me I know that I don’t know, but I think that steroids really aren’t for me, honestly”.
“I saw him a couple of times in Tallahassee and that’s when I knew he changed a lot”, he said, referring to how Harrouff had joined a fraternity and seemed more outgoing. Officials said it looked like the husband tried to fight back.
Reports state the student was “exhibiting abnormal levels of strength” and did not respond to being stunned by a deputy’s Taser, being bitten by a police dog or tackled by at least three law enforcement officers. Snyder said detectives are working with prosecutors to determine the charges. The man was “making animal noises”, and “grunting and growling” as officers yanked him away.
Stevens died in the driveway. The muscular student stabbed the 50-something pair multiple times with a large pocket knife he often carried, as well as other instruments he found in the garage.
Fisher was airlifted to St. Mary’s Trauma Center where he underwent emergency surgery for his stab wounds.
“John and Michelle were the nicest people”, neighbor Amy Lourie said. They got along with all of their neighbors and were greatly adored. He then approached the couple and stabbed them to death. He is expected to survive. Wade Harrouff also has been arrested twice for DUI, in 2011 in Juno Beach and in 2012 in Lantana.

Austin Harrouff, 19, is seen in the video speaking to the camera as he talks about his “realization” that he no longer wants to follow bodybuilders and instead follow himself.
