Modi calls for campaign against atrocities in PoK
He also took an aggressive tone on Pakistan, saying Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) belongs to India and that the time had come to expose Islamabad’s atrocities in Balochistan.

Days after India insisted that it would discuss only PoK with Pakistan, Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz had said on Friday that Pakistan plans to invite India for a dialogue on Kashmir issue.
Asserting that the Centre was committed to finding a permanent and peaceful solution as per the basic principles of the Constitution, Modi said “we all are committed to this national sentiment that there can not be any compromise with the country’s regional integrity”.
Modi’s government has shunned talks with Hurriyat and other groups that challenge India’s claim, putting on hold peace talks with Pakistan, telling it to first rein in anti-India militants operating from its territory. “We must together go to the root from where the problem started”, Azad said while talking to journalists after an all-party meet here on Kashmir. The constituent assembly of Jammu and Kashmir declared itself an integral part of India.
Last month, after Pakistan eulogized terrorist Burhan Wani, whose killing on July 8 had unleased the five-month long unrest, Ms Swaraj, in a sharp rebuke, said Pakistan’s stated goal of detaching Kashmir from India will “not be realised to the end of eternity”.
“Like every Indian, I’m also deeply pained by the recent incidents that have taken place in Jammu & Kashmir, PM Modi said at the all party meeting”. “DeM request all the people mostly women to celebrate Pakistan Independence Day with fervor and stage protest against India rule in Kashmir”, she said. Earlier both the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha have unanimously passed resolutions expressing concern over the prevailing situation in the valley and appealing to the people of Kashmir to help restore peace.
But, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who was flanked by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at a news conference, said before sending such a team, the state government has to undertake some ground work. He said that pellet guns “were aimed with the deliberate intention of causing serious permanent injuries”, adding, “this was unacceptable”. Pakistan will have to answer for launching violence in our state. The adviser also emphasised that the current situation in held Kashmir was the result of continued denial by India of the right to self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir that was promised to them by the United Nations resolutions.

DMK leader Kanimozhi, who was having difficulty in following the proceedings of the meeting which were mostly in Hindi, said similar was the situation with regard to Kashmiris as they were not able to understand the language of the central government, the sources said.
