On Wednesday afternoon, Amy Schumer posted a statement to Twitter addressing Metzger’s comments. Never you mind who they are. “He is my friend and a great writer and I couldn’t be more against his recent actions”.

“I didn’t fire Kurt”.
The Trainwreck star tweeted: “I am so saddened and disappointed in Kurt Metzger”. “Having this written about me is better than receiving a f-ing emmy”.
Metzger’s pissed about allegations another comedian, Aaron Glaser, raped several women in NYC – and he claims the alleged victims didn’t go to police.
“Oh u thought I was yelling at victims?” “UCB didn’t even need to!” he went on in another post on Monday. Metzger’s Twitter bio reads, “proud cuck and rape apologist”. If u use those words it means u are pure s- and I want u to HATE me. Please call me both of those things. Of course, Schumer could have been referring to Inside Amy Schumer’s production schedule, with Schumer now in the midst of a massive tour to support her newly released first book. In one, she skewers supporters of Bill Cosby, who was charged with sexual assault previous year stemming from an alleged incident in 2004; another sketch features a football coach instituting a “no raping” policy to the disappointment of his high school team.
According to the New York Daily News, Glaser’s ban from the improv comedy training center was shared in a private Facebook group for female comedians, where a woman posted that ‘multiple women came forward’.
While the interaction between Gay and Schumer addresses wildly different subjects than the women asking Schumer where she stands on Metzger’s rape comments, the end result is the same: a growing block-list that leaves Schumer fans confused about what she actually stands for.
