Dad finds kids’ pot brownies, eats four, insults family cat
Sometimes real life tops the Onion: Omaha police were called after a man who mistakenly ate marijuana brownies began saying mean things to the family cat. We’ve all been there.

The Omaha World-Herald reports that the 53-year-old man was unloading groceries Tuesday and apparently found some brownies in the back of the vehicle, which his adult children had used earlier in the day.
Unfortunately for the man, he didn’t realise there was a little something added to the recipe – cannabis – when he polished off several of them.
The man’s wife told officers and medics when she arrived home, her 53-year-old husband was watching TV when he suddenly started to experience bad anxiety. He found them Tuesday night and-unaware they were special-ate four. “But they noted he was displaying odd behavior – crawling around on the floor, randomly using profanities and calling the family cat a “bitch.'” Wrong animal!”
She tried, but failed, to get hold of her children in an effort to find out what was in their recipe.
The man told paramedics he felt like “he’s trippin.'” He declined their offer to be taken to the hospital. He told them he was “pretty sure it was just marijuana in the brownies”, according to a police report.
The man’s vital signs were said to be normal after he was checked at the scene by paramedics.
All the Pulitzers to the Omaha World-Herald.
