A similar report claimed the same thing in a OK! magazine cover story last week about Suri and Katie Holmes’ “Life Without Tom”.
According to reports from Us Weekly, the Top Gun actor has had “essentially no contact” with his 10-year-old daughter for some time.
Suri Cruise, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise visit Schenley Plaza’s carousel on October 8, 2011 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the time, some publications believed that if Suri stayed with Cruise, she would be sent to the Sea Organisation. According to them, the last time Cruise and his youngest daughter were photographed publicly was in August 2012, when he took her to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
For the record, the “Edge of Tommorow” stud keeps in touch with his two other children (with second ex-wife Nicole Kidman) Isabella, 23, and Connor, 21, who are both members of Scientology.
The 54-year-old split with Suri’s mother, Katie Holmes, in 2012, when his daughter was just six years old. The church denied that its members “cut ties with non-Scientologist friends or family members because they have chosen another religion” to Us Weekly.
As many former Scientologists have claimed higher-ups in the religion force members to avoid those that leave the church, the representative told Us Weekly: ‘The answer to your question is no.
We never comment on individual parishioners’ lives.
Us Weekly claims Holmes and Suri were “excommunicated” by Cruise because they left the Church of Scientology.
‘Scientologists respect the faith of others, associate with and befriend members of every religion. Given that Scientology is a new religion, Scientologists often have family members and friends who are not Scientologists and who may practice another faith or no faith at all.
