Haunting image of Syrian boy rescued from Aleppo rubble
These photos offer just a tiny peek into the horrors plaguing the civilians in Aleppo as the city continues to suffer from airstrikes, bearing the burnt of the country’s gruesome civil war.

Covered in dust from the rubble which was once his home, one side of Omran Daqneesh’s face is drenched in blood, his expression dazed.

The 1:48-minute video clip, uploaded by the Aleppo Media Center on Wednesday, showed the aftermath of an emergency situation, most probably after an airstrike, in Aleppo.
He was among five children, a woman and two men pulled alive from the rubble of a house.
Omran was taken to the M10 hospital – itself hit by air strikes – where doctors treated his head injury and cleaned the dust from his body.
They reportedly do not know what happened to Omran’s parents.

Hundreds of people have died in recent weeks as fighting for control of Aleppo – split between the government-held west and rebel-held east – has intensified.
Last week, an alliance of Syrian rebels and Islamist groups broke the longstanding government siege on the eastern half of the city.

Senior military officials from Russian Federation and the U.S. – which wants to see Dr Assad step down – are in talks to attempt to find a political solution to end the civil war.
