Body found believed to be that of missing Charlotte woman

In a press conference Tuesday, detectives said Alex Castillo, 17, and Ahmia Feaster, 19, are suspected of stealing a black Toyota Corolla, owned by 23-year-old Tru Quan Le, also known as “Sandy”.

Le’s family was seen driving up to the command post Wednesday afternoon.

Police have not released many details about the discovery, or what led them to search the area for Le. Their families believe they are being held captive, and were forced to make that phone call.

According to her Facebook, Le recently graduated from Queens University with a degree in interdisciplinary health services.

The investigator continued that a search earlier in the day Wednesday at Reedy Creek Park was conducted after several eyewitnesses claimed to have seen Castillo and Feaster in the park several times.

“It’s so uncharacteristic of Mia”, says her aunt Sandi Worthy.

“She’s just full of life and just loving a very loving person you could tell that”.

Salvey said investigators believe that Castillo and Feaster traveled to Phoenix before going to Mexico.

They all worked at Showmar’s on Little Rock Road.

Anyone who sees or has information about these three missing persons is asked to call 911 immediately. Both were reported missing by their families the next day.

Officers say a citizen called 911 around 7 a.m. Saturday saying they’d found a 4-door red, 2007 Dodge Caliber, which belonged to Feaster.

A private investigator tells WBTV Feaster and Castillo called their families Saturday night, to tell them they are safe, but don’t know where they are. The families did not know where were.

Detectives are working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to locate and arrest Castillo and Feaster on outstanding warrants for possession of a stolen vehicle.

“We’re still working through the Federal Bureau of Investigation”.

Police said the case now involves officers in Arizona and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
