“It’s wonderful because I never walked six miles in my life and I was doing it every day”. “My chest was hanging down here”, Brocco told ABC News.

He decided he was going to work for his food – by schlepping on foot from his pad in Avondale, Ariz., to his local Walmart every time his stomach growled.
Brocco gradually incorporated incline walks on the treadmill and weightlifting into his exercise regimen to bring his overall weight loss to 330 pounds. “It was incredible – I had never walked 6 miles in my life”, he said.
Brocco said he adjusted his diet even more by cutting out dairy, leading to even more weight loss.
Brocco put foods like vegetables, meats, sweet potatoes, quinoa and steel cut oatmeal into his diet and took out the specific foods he learned over time were hampering his efforts.
Brocco said after one of his appointments, he went home and looked at himself in the mirror.
The guy who lost 25 pounds while playing Pokémon Go might have impressed you, but wait ’til you meet Pasquale Brocco, previously known as “Fat Pat”, who lost over 300 pounds by walking to Walmart daily. “I didn’t fit on the machines”. He had to have about 30 pounds of excess skin surgically removed. Pasquale said he was always been nicknamed “Fat Pat” and now he’s changed that to “Possible Pat”.

That 10-hour surgery was on Monday and now he is recovering at home. The procedure was performed by Dr. Remus Repta, a plastic surgeon. A typical pre-weight loss day could consist of Brocco eating 100 fast food chicken nuggets as detailed in the diet below.
