The governor, speaking at a Statehouse news conference before Trump announced a major reorganization of his top campaign staff Wednesday morning, argued voters will “tune in” after Labor Day and that the first presidential debate could be a deciding factor in the 2016 race. Most Florida voters (63%), though, are actually unaware that Rubio gave his support to Trump and most say that this endorsement will not affect their vote either for president (83%) or for senator (64%).

Kaine said Wednesday: “Did you see Hillary Clinton interrupt her campaign and start to go after grieving parents who have lost somebody on an attack on one of our embassies? No”.

“There’s enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton in NY, and tremendous antipathy toward Donald Trump”, Gianaris said.

Trump said in a speech Monday that the country’s national security requirements demanded “extreme” vetting of immigrants seeking admission to the United States, pointing to the threat of the Islamic State group and terrorist elements. Trump also accused Clinton and Democrats of deepening racial divides and fostering “the risky anti-police atmosphere in America”.
