In a tense exchange, the model from North Ferriby, East Yorkshire, also said she refused to return the bejewelled crown she won in 2015.

Zara has taken a lot of flack after doing what she did, and has taken the blame for her “mistake”, but she thought the decision was “rushed” and that it should have been done when the show was finished.
The former Miss Great Britain beauty – who was famously stripped of her title earlier this year after she had sex on “Love Island” – stormed out of the building with her management after she locked horns with the boss of the beauty pageant following her appearance on the chat show today.
Zara 20, came face to face with Deone Robertson, the runner-up who took over the title, for the first time on ITV’s Loose Women.
“At this point the National Director interjected to reiterate the fact that they had no contact with her in the Love Island villa, but had let her mum know, and kept her up to date throughout”.
Thankfully, 20-year-old Zara also totally held her own while coming under fire.
A show insider confirmed there was an “altercation” but said: “Zara wasn’t “physically” removed, she left with her management following the altercation”. I don’t agree with having sex on TV’.
But it doesn’t seem as though the Loose Women agreed with us.
“There was no real rush to take my title off me”.
As Zara tried to defend herself by blaming the alcohol and claiming she was a “massive lightweight”, Sherrie snapped: “That’s not an excuse”. It’s attractive and wonderful and I won it, so I won’t give it back, even though they have asked me’.
Zara explained that she forgot the cameras were there and felt that she was in a “private” situation despite knowing that there was every likelihood the scenes would be aired.
She continued by saying that she thought Miss GB was a “modern pageant”, to which June Sarpong hit back: ‘There’s nothing modern about having sex on TV.
“It’s attractive and wonderful”.
The panel asked how she could have sex on TV if the title meant so much to her, but Zara didn’t want to take the blame.
To then make matters worse, Zara was also confronted by her Mis GB replacement Deone Robertson after refusing to give her tiara back and said: “It’s handsome and wonderful”.
