Derrick Rose Stands By Super Team Comment
If they can come together with Rose running the show, the Knicks should have one of their most successful seasons in recent history.

However, via a report by ESPN’s Ian Begley, Derrick isn’t backing down from his hypothesis – in fact, he’s doubling down.
“I still believe that”, said Rose when asked about his comments at a promotional event in Korea earlier this week. “I mean, with these teams right now, they’re saying us and Golden State are the superteams”. “So I have a lot of confidence, and I’m not taking that back”. Folks can’t forget that Rose was deemed the best player in the National Basketball Association in 2011, as he was named the MVP.
Rose says that his new team will have more options on offense and that everyone will get their fair share of touches.
New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony (7) and forward Kristaps Porzingis (6) against the Boston Celtics during the first half of an NBA basketball game at Madison Square Garden. When rattling off his new teammates, the former MVP included backup center Kevin Seraphin, who no longer plays for the Knicks. NY also signed shooting guard Courtney Lee and point guard Brandon Jennings to back up Rose. Nevertheless, Rose is maintaining a high level of confidence, and that’s what matters as he looks to reassert himself in his post-Chicago days.
Here’s to Derrick Rose proving everyone wrong in the 2016-17 season, and here’s to the Knicks getting back on track in a big way.

“We have to go in, and we have to prove something”, Rose added. “Bringing a group like that together can be very risky if we all come together the right way”.
