A 12-year-old hunter from Utah shared cringeworthy pictures from her latest South Africa hunting trip, which caught negative attention from the internet.

“One of my dream hunts for sure”.

A girl is getting death threats on social media after posting pictures of a big game hunting safari.

Gourdin sees nothing wrong with it.

“It’s something I cherish and enjoy and I want other people to see what I experienced”, she said. Other pictures posted to the Facebook page includes Aryanna posing with a dead giraffe, a dead antelope, and a dead bear among other animals.

One of the photos, showing her holding up the head of a giraffe, has received more than 7000 comments, including several calling her a “killer” and “cruel”.

In a post on Tuesday, Aryanna acknowledged the uproar.

As for the haters, Mr Gourdin said they should mind their own business. And Ginny Thrasher, the 19-year-old who won a gold medal in an Olympic shooting event, was roundly lambasted online for the crime of being an American who knows her way around an air rifle.

But Aryana, a hunter since age seven, isn’t apologizing. He says his daughter was encouraged to kill the animal.

Commenters called her out as a murderer after posing with her trophies.. The last thing they need is to be killed for anyone’s enjoyment.

Eli told Good Morning America that the hunting farm said the giraffe was “a problem animal” and its meat was donated to a local village that will help feed 800 orphans.

Other pics show Aryanna half-standing on the giraffe carcass as her dad gives her props; another has her kneeling over a wildebeest she slew with a bow and arrow. Despite this, she said on August 17, “I would never back down from hunting”.

“We’re proud to be hunters and we’ll never apologize for being a hunter”, Gourdin’s dad Eli said.

The viral outrage over the hunting photos was parallel to the protests sparked by dentist Walter Palmer’s photo of Cecil, a lion he hunted and killed in Zimbabwe.

Facebook actually deleted a number of these images, stirring a major controversy in July of 2014.

A 12-year-old from Cache County is garnering national attention because of her Facebook page.

Is it totally fine, but maybe she shouldn’t pose with her prey like this?
