Plus, as The Verge observes, Sprint is also limiting music streaming to 500kpbs and gaming to a miserable 2Mbps.

Again you can save great money on the bill now as AT&T will no more assume that you require more data rather it will slow down the speed to 128 kbps as you cross the monthly plan. T-Mobile is saying that their biggest sells are family plans with multi-line accounts and then you get down to around $40 per line on average, but for single users, this isn’t ultra-affordable. The Unlimited Freedom announcement comes minutes after T-Mobile announced Un-carrier 12, a new initiative that gets rid of the magenta company’s data plans. Up to four additional lines can be added for $30 per month each.
But not everyone is excited by T-Mobile’s new approach to data.
AT&T unveiled new Mobile Share Advantage plans that eliminate data overage charges for its mobile customers customers.
That’s because their data plans have some significant limitations. With T-Mobile’s new plan, two lines of unlimited data will cost $120 plus you’ll get all the other bells and whistles like T-Mobile Tuesdays, Music Freedom, and more.
The new plan starts at 1GB for $30 and goes up to 100GB.
Since March of 2013, when Legere unveiled the first “Un-Carrier” promotion – eliminating annual contracts – T-Mobile has added nearly 13 million monthly subscribers. With newer technology, faster speeds and ever-expanding coverage that now reaches almost every American, T-Mobile’s network is built for how people use smartphones today – and is the reason the Un-carrier can now eliminate the data plan.
T-Mobile has also tried to make its plans more appealing by letting many customers stream video from dozens of services including Netflix, ESPN and HBO without eating up data. For example, having 10 lines will cost $300 per month ($240 for the first eight and $60 for the remaining two lines). If you want high definition video, it will cost $25 extra per month for each line. T-Mobile One will be available starting September 6. Customers who opt out of auto-pay services see a $5 per line fee assessed. However, the users can now choose 16GB Mobile Share advantage plan for $90 per month.

Finally, even though they are calling this unlimited, 26GB is really the unlimited data cap here.
