Iwobi Injured, Doubtful For Arsenal Vs Leicester; Wenger Rues Defeat To Liverpool
A thrilling game at Emirates Stadium saw Liverpool trail 1-0 before romping into a 4-1 lead, with Jurgen Klopp’s men then staving off a comeback as Arsenal threatened to salvage a point.

So dominant were Liverpool that they were 4-1 up by the 63rd minute, though goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers set up a nervy finish.
The goal on debut will no doubt help Mane in ultimately justifying the price tag, but at this stage, performing is the primary concern.
“I have a big responsibility for the last half-an-hour”, he added. “We made our mistakes together and we scored wonderful goals”, he said.
Wenger said he needs to give his players a rest because they are not yet ready to play the sort of game.
“But at the end, and over the whole 90 minutes, it’s a deserved win. It’s hard coming straight off the field and analysing straight away because I’m sure if I watch it from a distance I might pick one or two things we did well that I thought we didn’t, and vice versa”. It was a game of contrast between two halves but I felt as well that mentally we kept going and we have been absolutely remarkable on that front.
“Unfortunately, the shame of modern football as it is, we don’t appreciate stability and continuity as much as we should”.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has bemoaned the “Catch-22” situation he was put in by pushing Aaron Ramsey to play in the demoralising defeat against Liverpool on Sunday, Squawka News reports.
“At 4-1 we maybe got a bit complacent, a bit over the top”, the England global told Liverpool’s official website.
“When Arsene Wenger first came to England he was the bright, exciting manager whose teams were, at times, unplayable”, he told the Times.
“To achieve something special we need to be more disciplined defensively as a unit”.
“It’s cost us more than any Premier League match last season and it’s only the first week”, said spokesman Wayne Lincoln.
“We had many players that played very late in the Euros”.

“We have huge belief. We had four players who went very late”. It was a flawless start for us. “At the moment he hasn’t got that, he’s being asked to learn on the job and we’re seeing some of the fallout from that”.
