Adams took the test on Thursday and passed the course. He accompanied the post with a photo of himself in his cap and gown holding his son.

I talked with Bralon Addison today, who has worked out with Vernon in non-official capacities before, and says he thinks he would be a good fit for this offense. None other than Eastern Washington.

Both Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman and Sports Illustrated’s Lindsay Schnell reported he crossed his final hurdle Thursday night. He had been throwing with roommates and friends, but now Adams can join Oregon and practice, He is a step behind Jeff Lockie for the starting gig, but now Adams can at least compete for the No. 1 job. He threw for 10,438 yards, 110 touchdowns and 31 interceptions while completing 64.8 percent of his passes in three seasons at Eastern Washington.

Adams now has less than a month to prepare for his first game with his new team. I’m the first one in my family to earn a degree.

Adams, who walked at EWU’s graduation ceremony, also announced the news with a simple message on his Instagram account: “Thank God”.

Mariota declared his eligibility for the NFL draft shortly after the Ducks fell 42-20 to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff championship game. And now Adams has a few weeks to catch up to Lockie.

Coach Mark Helfrich said earlier this week that he had no timetable for choosing a starter.

Oregon opens the 2015 season at home on September 5 against Eastern Washington.
