New Campaign Manager Says Trump’s Underdog Status Helps Him

Donald Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, told CNN that it helped to be behind in the race because it “lights a fire under us”.

Halperin said, “I think if Bannon plays the role of trying to solve message discipline and a message focused on change and getting Trump better press coverage, I think he could be a valuable addition”.

This is the third time Trump has made changes to his campaign structure since announcing his run for president. “Voters know if you’re comfortable in your own skin”, she said.

“Hillary Clinton should be asked if she agrees with everything about Obamacare”, Conway said.

The veteran pollster said the campaign is planning on having Trump give more speeches like the one he did earlier in the week on the threat of terror and foreign policy in Youngstown, Ohio. “Next week is immigration week, followed by education week”, she said.

Just 27 per cent of registered voters think Trump would make a good or great president, while 55 per cent say the bellicose NY billionaire developer would be either poor or awful president, a Pew Research Center poll said on Thursday, Xinhua news agency reported.

“I have known Steve and Kellyanne both for many years”. “I thought it was a masterful choice”.

Trump selected as his new campaign CEO Stephen K. Bannon, the head of Breitbart News, a website that tilts to the right – steeply, ferociously, unrelentingly, unapologetically. Before Trump solidified the nomination, she worked for a pro-Ted Cruz Super Pac, and before that, she worked for polling firms connected to President Ronald Reagan, Congressman Jack Kemp, and former Vice President Dan Quayle.

Conway has been praised for being smart and skilled, something the Trump campaign desperately needs, but she’s not fooling anyone with the notion that Trump’s position in the race is benefiting him.

Paul Manafort, Campaign Chairman added, “It is imperative we continue to expand our team with top-tier talent”.
