“WWE 2k16” is causing quite a hype among fans as games related to the World Wrestling Entertainment just have a knack for surprises that please players of the game to their toes.

Offering more than 120 unique playable characters, including cover Superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin alongside Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, Paige and Finn Bálor, WWE 2K16 includes the largest roster in WWE games history.

Video game’s revealed adds include the likes of Triple H, Booker T, Kane, and Colonel Mustafa, an early 1990s wrestler/manager played by none other than now-WWE Hall of Famer Iron Sheik. Perhaps the most intriguing superstar on this list is Colonel Mustafa.

Two more expected names are those of Nikolai Volkoff and Sargent Slaughter, and the Iron Sheik in his original character, as these three would make flawless sense in the game if the other names are being included.

2K Showcase: The franchise’s popular story-based mode returns in WWE 2K16, enabling players to relive iconic matches and moments in WWE history. Slaughter, who had an epic rivalry with both General Adnan and Colonel Mustafa.

The second set of wrestlers and divas that are added to the game are Booker T, Triple H, Kalisto, Kane, Sin Cara, Lord Steven Regal, Colonel Mustafa, General Adnan, Summer Rae, Tamina, Eva Marie and Emma.

However, according to an update at KRWG News 22, Hulk Hogan was removed from the list due to the racist comments he made which spread like wildfire online.

Bleacher reported that some old school game features are present “WWE 2K16” such as create a Championship, Diva, Show and Arena.

IGN also adds that the entrance of WWE Superstar Kalisto has been streamed. 2K Sports will release versions for the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox On.
