CNBC Rolls Out Plans for Jay Leno Show
“NBC has been trying to kill me for years”, Leno said of one episode of Jay Leno’s Garage in which he sits in the back seat of an Audi that drives itself, while it sped at 110 miles per hour around a racetrack.

Kimmel and Leno publicly opened about their rivalry over the years. Whether it’s delving into the history of an iconic brand, testing the latest super vehicle, offering consumer advice or investigating the latest automotive innovations, “Jay Leno’s Garage” follows Jay on his journey through the always-fascinating world of people, their prized automobiles and cars everywhere, new and old.
Leno continuously slammed the host because of his “mean streak”, according to E!
“Only if you have at least two of us on each show”. “He’s smart. … I think he’ll do well with mainstream America”. “I think [Stephen] Colbert will be really good. But he has a mean streak, and it comes across”.
Leno said some of Kimmel’s words are just so mean- based. When I watch his thing where he takes the candy away from the kids at Halloween and they cry, I don’t get that. What am I missing here? I think he’s amusing. And that’s basically why he thinks that Kimmel’s show has low ratings, as mentioned in Huffpost Entertainment.
Leno, who still does plenty of standup, said he is “fine” no longer doing The Tonight Show, which he left in February 2014. Jimmy Fallon has nothing to worry about though. The launch date was revealed at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Beverly Hills this morning. “I love all things women love: exfoliating microbeads, period costume dramas, Joe Manganiello’s second row of abs, pay commensurate with my skill set, York peppermint patties, Legolas, the respect of my colleagues, and being warm”. “He and Jeb Bush are frontrunners”.
Also, Jay’s been known to tell plenty of jokes in his time that could be interpreted as “mean” in their own right.

“The idea of a white guy in late night, this is revolutionary”, he deadpanned to journalists when asked about Stephen Colbert replacing David Letterman.
