Jose Mourinho: Zlatan Ibrahimovic is at the top of his qualities
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has distanced himself from making a comparison between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and club legend, Eric Cantona, after easing past Bournemouth 3-1 at Dean Court. He shouted with both arms raised and fists clenched as Ibrahimovic took the first step in the league towards justifying the manager bringing him in. The body and mentality are not those of a 34-year-old guy. The Ivorian was named man of the match for his commanding display in defence, and Fellaini was more than impressed with what he saw.

The question of whether Ibrahimovic, 34, could still perform in the Premier League has been answered early on by two goals in his first two Manchester United games.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admits that he was nervous before his EPL debut in charge of the Red Devils.
“The team did good”.
“It was a hard game”, Ibrahimovic told Sky Sports. “It is not easy, everything is new for me teammates and club”, he said. I have played this game a long time I believe in my ability. “Slowly I get settled in, play my game and make my team win”. “The first objective is to win”, he told Sky Sports. And if I play where I played today I’ll score goals’. “That would be a step forward from last season”.
With Paul Pogba not available, Mourinho prefered new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan on the bench.so Mata, Rooney and Anthony Martial were in support of Ibrahimovic. Rooney added the second after the interval.
“Like everybody, I want to start so I’m happy to start today (at Bournemouth) and show my quality and show the manager what I can do”, the Belgium global added.
Mourinho offloaded Mata as Chelsea manager and raised doubts about his faith in the player by substituting him and then off again in last week’s Community Shield win over Leicester.
MLS: Razvan Cocis scored off a set piece late in the second half to give host Chicago a 2-2 draw with Orlando City.
The France global was suspended for last weekend’s win at Bournemouth due to bookings he picked up at Juve last season.

But, whereas the staid atmosphere at Old Trafford that day reflected the drab nature of Louis van Gaal’s reign, there was a whiff of revolution in the air on the genteel English south coast as Mourinho’s reign got under way.
