1 killed, several injured when buses collide in New Jersey

A NJ Transit bus was T-boned by another on Friday morning in Newark.

Photos from the intersection of North Broad Street and Raymond Boulevard, where the crash occurred, showed one bus was almost broken in half.

One bus is on its side, and the top appeared partially split.

At least seven people were injured, with some victims lying on a sidewalk and others being taken away in stretchers.

Both buses were emblazoned with the NJ Transit Bus logo.
