Lotus Evora 400 coupe treated to weight-saving carbon pack
The Carbon Pack uses a number of components already fitted to the limited-production Lotus Evora Sport 410 as standard.

Already the lightest of its kind, the Lotus Evora 400 is now available with further weight-saving options such as the new Carbon Pack, a lithium-ion battery and titanium sports exhaust system.
The lithium-ion battery costs $1,960 and is a direct replacement for the standard 12-volt unit.
The company claims that when all of the lightweight options are combined, they provide a 42kg (93 lbs) of total weight saving, dropping the Evora 400’s figure from 1,395kg (3,075 lbs) to 1,353kg (2,983 lbs). It includes lighter carbon fiber replacement parts for the standard front splitter, roof panel, rear wing, rear diffuser, front access panel and side mirror caps. Opting for the Carbon Pack tacks $10,000 to the Evora 400’s price.

Pricing for the new optional Carbon Pack is set at £6,500 in the United Kingdom, €9,000 in Germany and $10,000 in the US. CEO of Group Lotus plc, Jean-Marc Gales, said: “The Lotus Evora 400 is already the lightest auto in its segment, with supercar performance, benchmark handling and the purity of the driving experience expected of a Lotus”. In addition, the company has introduced a cup holder and oddment tray to all Evora models and they will be fitted as standard in the USA and Canada, while available as an option in European Union and Asia. More importantly, the upgrades are actually available for every market – meaning even U.S. customers can dip their toes in these fat-burning shenanigans. Finally the lithium-ion battery asks for £1,350 in the United Kingdom, €1,890 in Germany and $1,690 in the US. The lithium-ion battery represents the most affordable new feature, available for $1,690.
