The offer was made during the visit of Nepal’s new Prime Minister Pushpa Dahal Prachanda’s envoy.

It is learnt that Prachanda will visit India ahead of China this time, Nepalese sources said.
First visitor from the new Government in Nepal!
According to the sources, on his part, Mr Nidhi shared the vision and priorities of the new government as implementation of the Constitution to promote political stability, taking the Constitution and peace process forward by addressing all issues through a process of consensus building between all major political parties, and focusing on post-earthquake reconstruction efforts and economic development. “Our age-old ties have been nurtured by regular high-level exchanges”, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said in New Delhi.
Earlier on Friday, Nidhi also met Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who hosted a luncheon meeting.
Nidhi, who is on a four-day official visit to India, is expected to hand over an invitation from Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee as Kathmandu wants to ensure Mukherjee’s visit to Nepal on the first anniversary of the promulgation of the Himalayan nation’s constitution in September.
Mahara, for his part, has invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Nepal later this year.
In what could be a balm to the battered relation between India and Nepal, New Delhi has made a proposal offering help in reconstructing the earthquake-battered country.
He will also meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.

Oli’s government had also alleged that India orchestrated a blockade along the border with Nepal for months late past year following differences over a new Constitution adopted by Kathmandu.
