In a move that will make 4G-LTE a reality for millions of smartphone users, Jio Preview Offer is now open for all 4G customers of Samsung and LG.

To note, the offer only applies to select Samsung Galaxy J Series smartphones, but neither Samsung nor Airtel has detailed exactly which devices – at the time of writing, the telecom operator had yet to update the handset offer page on its website. Airtel has introduced the new offer as part of its “myHome Rewards” programme.
Earlier, the only way to get Jio 4G SIM is to buy an LYF smartphone.
Commenting on the newly launched offer, Mr. Ajai Puri, Director – Market Operations, Bharti Airtel, said, “We are delighted to extend our association with the popular Samsung J series”. For Rs 1,199 users will get 100 free SMS each day, enjoy unlimited free calling, free subscription to Wynk Movies/Wynk Music and 1GB of 3G/4G data.

Jio Preview offer is part of the test phase of Jio services, which was initially launched for employees and was later extended to family and friends, partners, and vendors. Users will get 5GB of additional data for each Airtel service they are using. Lately, Jio Preview Offer was made available with JioFi (the Wi-Fi hotspot device) at Reliance Digital, Digital Xpress, and Digital Xpress Mini stores. Apart from the data and calls, the preview offers also include the premium access to the Jio Play, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, and JioDrive apps. On opening the app, users will see links to sign in and sign up. Once the offer is confirmed for your device, the SIM can be brought from the nearby Reliance Digital store.
