Donald Trump: I’m Not Ruling Out an Independent Run…For Now
According to a report by Opposing Views, the feud between the two potential candidates arose on August 7, when Trump made a remark about the Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly being hard on him because she was on her menstrual cycle.

Yet Trump remains a towering presence in the 17-candidate field, and his supporters at the RedState event – along with several other uncommitted attendees – said the latest flap simply reaffirms why his uncompromising approach appeals to voters who are disgusted with conventional politicians, including those in the GOP.
And that is what it takes to truly ostracize the Republican Party.
In the interview with Hannity for Tuesday night, Trump said he was prepared to spend $345 million or more to fund his establishment-bucking campaign as long as he’s doing well in the polls. So, this is up to the partly leadership. “You know why? She had no choice because I gave to a foundation that frankly that foundation is supposed to do good“.
“I feel like he would actually make a difference”, one comment reads. “Now that he’s running for president, it’s a little more troubling”. “I think the guy went way overboard – offensive, outrageous, pick your adjective”, Clinton said of Trump.
He says his fortune has enabled him to run for the presidency without having to court donors, and it’s led to the Donald offering some pretty poignant critiques of the American campaign finance system. But he didn’t mention Trump or address the controversy head on.
Not for calling Mexicans rapists. There’s plenty of people who can talk about Donald Trump.
“Megyn Kelly is a strong woman and more than capable of defending herself against Donald Trump“. But he’s emerged relatively unscathed. Because it is all kept quiet, women are socialized not to complain or talk about their own bodily functions, since no one can see it happening. That’s why he’s leading in the polls. Instead, at least through the first half of the program, they delivered a series of tough inquiries specifically targeting the individual vulnerabilities of each candidate.
“No other Republican contender reaches double digits – retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson sits in third place at 9 percent, followed by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Sen”.
I don’t want to beat up on Josh, but seriously: is there anyone who doesn’t already get this?
“In the absence of a debate, Trump’s lead widens because he swallows up the political oxygen, but when that oxygen is spread out more evenly in a debate, it breathes life into the other candidates, and the race gets closer”, said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center in Boston.
Rick Perry, the former Texas governor, said Trump’s behavior shows “a serious lack of character and basic decency” that should disqualify him from the race.

He would “absolutely not” be able to muster up the same level of support from the general population should the Republican Party select him as their 2016 presidential hopeful, which Richardson says is unlikely.
