That is what one OH woman did after Cincinnati police say she stole a running ambulance parked outside a hospital Friday morning and drove it home after being discharged.

“Mrs. Carr stated that she took the vehicle because she missed the last bus”, police wrote in a sworn affidavit filed in Hamilton County Municipal Court.
The ambulance was tracked via Global Positioning System down I-75 until Springfield Township police stopped Carr on Meredith Drive. The driver apparently had left the ambulance to go inside the hospital with a patient.
Don’t you just hate it when you miss the last bus of the night and have to steal an ambulance to get home?
She was booked into the Hamilton County jail about 12:30 a.m. Friday on charges of theft, failure to comply with police and driving under suspension. Carr has no prior convictions other than a few traffic violations, according to her attorney.
