The folks at Watchers on the Wall got their hands on the call sheet detailing a bunch of newcomers the show is now casting.
Priest, in his 60s. He’s tall, handsome and must be available for one week shoot in the week of filming beginning on September 20.
Gate Guard, in his 20’s. He’s now scheduled to film between mid-October and mid-November.
Merchant, in his 40s. His appearance open, including ethnicity/race. He’ll shoot scenes during the first week of November. Since this is Game of Thrones, full nudity is apparently required for the role. Again, the production is open regarding race and ethnicity.
Young Lord in his late 20’s. It should be large, young, beautiful, white and have an identifiable accent. The producers want a white actor with an RP accent. He’s scheduled to shoot in the week commencing September 20th.
Lieutenant, in his 20s. The character is described as an athletic, physically fit, and disciplined warrior.
Then again, we could be seeing the entrance of a book character called Harry the Heir – a distant relative of the Arryn family who is now in line to inherit the Great House’s name and lands if sickly Lord Robin Arryn (Lino Facioli in the series) doesn’t reproduce, and is a key part of Littlefinger’s plans to take over the Vale of Arryn. Someone of Middle Eastern descent is preferable and they must be available from mid-September to mid-November. He’ll shoot for several days across three weeks between mid-September and mid-November. Most often, RP is heard in Game of Thrones through higher-class families and residents of King’s Landing.
But while this list is of mostly smaller parts, there’s still some interesting roles in there.
When talking about Cersei’s coronation and added responsibilities throughout the kingdom of Westeros, Headey said, “When she was in the depths of her losing streak, I had no idea where she was going”. There’s unsurprisingly more action going on in Winterfell and the North, judging by calls for Northern-accented guardsmen.
Will Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) be the subject of the next round of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 spoilers?
It’s nearly “Game” over for everyone’s favorite show, but HBO may have one “last” trick up its sleeve.
The third character is sought a “Warrior”, aged 35 to 45 years. They need someone who’s tough and great at fighting. Watchers on the Wall reports that he has a “considerable” amount of dialogue and the role needs a “top-end actor”. He’s a senior military officer, and they’re looking for a white actor who uses the British RP accent.
The uberly brilliant fan site Watchers on the Wall are reporting that the Game of Thrones producers are now looking for the following people to fill these roles.
On the subject of Daenerys, the two touted her “sense of destiny” and that she’s “a messianic figure”. With a new list of Season 7 casting calls circulating around the Internet, it’s time for fans to dust of their sleuthing skills. Even if we don’t know who.
