Feel like one of the safest people on Thrones: Harrington
Once he read the episodes of the new season, however, he was disappointed that his character did not return in an evil version of himself.

“Here’s the thing: I feel like one of the safest people on Thrones now”, he said.
Harington’s character Jon Snow was seemingly killed off at the end of the season-five finale, but after much waiting, Jon was resurrected in the second episode of season six. “Which at first I found disappointing”. “I wasn’t convincing at all”, Harington told The Wrap.
I got the scripts, and actually, he comes back as himself, as the Jon that everyone knows.
“He has an insight into what lies beyond that very few people in this world do”, he explained. “He knows that there’s no afterlife. Which does quietly drive who he is and what he wants to do”, he added.
According to the actor, he feels his character is now one of the safest on show. But there is method in his madness: “Maybe I shouldn’t say that”. “I felt a bit cocky this season”, the actor said, citing that “it would be terrible storytelling”, if the writers had his character die soon after being resurrected. If I come back to life in Episode 2, it would be bad storytelling if you kill me in Episode 4.
Fans were left in flabbergasted limbo for nearly a year after Jon Snow met his demise at the end of Game Of Thrones season five, but having been miraculously revived in season six, Kit Harington seems pretty comfortable about his odds on staying in the HBO fantasy drama.
Thankfully, Kit has a bit of time to regrow his iconic beard as GOT’s season seven premiere has been pushed to later into 2017!
Speaking with the Wrap, Harington said it was hard to prepare for season six because scripts are given just two weeks ahead of shooting.
“I never really like expressing them”, he said.
