Modi crossed ‘red line’ by talking about Balochistan
Fatemi said the combination of Nawaz Sharif in Pakistan and a strong nationalist leader in India had created an opportunity that we rapidly appear to be losing for a political settlement between the countries.

“It is the violation of the UN Charter…”
“The Kashmiris are agitating for their right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions, whereas in Balochistan there is only a small group working on the behest of the enemy country”, Zehri said, referring to suspected Indian involvement.
Kashmir has been divided between India and Pakistan since their independence from British rule in 1947.
According to Swarup, Jaishankar in his letter “conveyed that he accepts his counterpart’s invitation to visit Islamabad” but made it clear that the discussions should focus first on the more pressing aspects of the Jammu & Kashmir situation.
Web Desk: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri said that Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is interfering in Balochistan. And this isn’t just India’s view.
“The mention of human rights violations in Pakistan (in the Prime Minister’s Red Fort speech) was a natural thing, humanity doesn’t stop at borders”, sources were quoted saying by ANI.
“Modi should first stand accountable to the global community for unending and perpetual atrocities against Kashmiris in the disputed state of Jammu Kashmir, Muslims and Dalits in India”, he stated, further adding, “Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and follies of a dictator can not empower the Indian prime minister to speak on our internal issues”. However, he was very cautious on the human rights violations being committed by Indian forces in Kashmir.
Oslo, according to him, is ready to play its part in breaking the deadlock but for that goal both sides have to agree to its role.
Later Wednesday, an Indian Embassy representative in Islamabad handed over a letter to the Pakistani government reaffirming that New Delhi would be prepared to discuss “current and relevant” concerns but not Kashmir, which is part-ruled by the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
“In fact, today the contrast between grim reality” in Kashmir and the peaceful situation in PoK could not be more stark, it claimed. “It is time for an immediate intervention of United Nations human rights bodies in Jammu and Kashmir”, the statement added.

On its part, Government of Pakistan must immediately review its position and invite the UN High Commissioner and his team to visit parts of Jammu and Kashmir under Pakistani administration.
