Guardiola on Toure, Hart, and aspirations
Newly-appointed Everton head coach Ronald Koeman reportedly wants Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s goalkeeping outcast, Joe Hart, moved to his side this summer with only weeks left before the transfer window closes. You sometimes could see someone thinking ‘Where should I run?’ but for a first match it was better than expected.

Hart has made almost 350 appearances for City in all competitions since joining them from Shrewsbury in 2006 and he was one of their most consistent performers last season.
Early reports have Everton and Sevilla, but if he had to move you would have to think Hart would prefer Everton.
Pep Guardiola is impressed with what he has seen from Yaya Toure and Joe Hart in training ahead of Manchester City’s Champions League playoff against Steaua Bucharest, even though the pair face uncertain futures at the Etihad Stadium.
A disastrous Euro 2016 tournament left Hart’s reputation in tatters with Guardiola’s decision to drop him further dulling his sheen. “It’s very different from a year ago, as with every coach – it’s a different way of working, of living, and I’m feeling good”.
“The key thing is that he has good players – just as Guardiola has at Manchester City. Why treat him like that?”
“I am not saying he’s not able to do it – with training he can do it”, said Guardiola last week. His attitude isn’t awful.
After a successful career at City, which has included two Premier League titles and a Champions League semi-final, which clubs could Joe Hart land at?
“I’m not buying into the fact that Joe Hart can not clip a 30-yard or a 40-yard ball”.
“But whoever gets the services of Joe Hart is getting one hell of a keeper”.

Steaua are aiming to take a step towards reaching the group stage of Europe’s premier club competition for the first time since the 2013-14 season when they entertain City on Tuesday.
