Trump makes battleground state ad buys

“It has to be about issues”, said Conway, a veteran Republican operative with a reputation as a more pragmatic data-driven analyst who aims to broaden Trump’s appeal to women and independent voters.

Trump also made a last-minute scheduling change, scrapping a planned event in NY in order to travel with his running mate Mike Pence to tour the flood damage in Louisiana on Friday morning.

Trump made a near-apology in his speech saying sometimes he doesn’t choose the right words, “I’ve never been politically correct it takes far too much time and can often make it more hard to achieve total victory”.

Trump told a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, Thursday night: “Sometimes in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don’t choose the right words or you say the wrong thing”.

“Hillary Clinton should be asked if she agrees with everything about Obamacare”, Conway said. “That doesn’t mean anything, because Donald Trump controls the RNC right now and they’re going to do his bidding, however insane it may be”.

Lafonda Jackson, a Charlotte resident and African-American, is registered independent.

Trump then said “I think I will be called Mr. Brexit”.

The veteran pollster acknowledged polling now shows Trump behind in the race, but said it’s to his advantage. “It lights a fire under us and reminds us what we need to do”.

Hillary Clinton says the nation needs to work together to “repair the bonds of trust and respect” between police officers and communities and not stoke more divisions.

Trump did not specify which comments he was expressing regret for, though in the past year he has notably insulted Sen.

But faced with the choice of Donald Trump, voters seem willing to tolerate the questions it raises about Clinton’s honesty due to their distaste for the Republican nominee.

“We’re going to sharpen the message”, Conway told CNN.

“There’s not a single job that gets created from that, there’s not a single uninsured American who gets health care from that kind of nastiness”, she said.

“The continued expansion of our team in North Carolina, a key battleground state, shows the commitment the Trump-Pence campaign has made to putting this state in the win column come November”, said new State Director Jason Simmons.

The step into swing-state advertising, which came amid Trump’s second staffing shake-up in as many months, did little to alleviate the concerns of Republican officials frustrated with Trump’s refusal to adopt the tools of modern-day political campaigns. The publication has always been a big supporter of Trump and his views.

Sens. Ron Wyden of OR and Chris Murphy of CT say their bill is specifically aimed at Donald Trump, who has refused to release his returns even though it’s standard practice for presidential candidates.

In addition to the outlay of $1.4 million in Florida and $1 million in Pennsylvania, the campaign will buy $831,000 worth of ads in North Carolina and $746,000 in OH, with an additional $1 million in cable buys yet to be publicly designated for a particular state, according to CMAG/Kantar Media.

The hiring of Conway and conservative news site Breitbart’s Steve Bannon as the campaign’s new CEO follows a week in which his campaign dealt with falling poll numbers, a public battle with the family of slain Army Capt. Humayun Khan and a New York Times report on the turmoil within his campaign.
