A son torched a Ferrari, which was a gift from his father, because he wanted an upgrade.

The man, from Switzerland, has 14 other cars (including a Lamborghini) as well as a property portfolio worth close to £19million and a monthly allowance of almost £5,000.
After recently getting his Ferrari 458 Italia valued, the son of a Swiss millionaire decided he wanted to replace his old Ferrari 458 Italia model with a new one-but he didn’t want to ask daddy for the replacement.
20 Minutes reported the dealer had advised the young man to destroy the vehicle and let the insurance cover the price of the new one. However, the son was unable to meet the quoted price for the said model, which was at $193,500.
The man and his accomplices then travelled to Germany where he booked into a spa while his two accomplices set the vehicle alight.
Prosecutors were pushing for a jail sentence for those involved in the plan, but the judge instead opted for a period of probation and a fine of €30,000 (£21,500).
His three accomplices were given probation orders between 14 and 16 months each.
Also, the 458 Speciale delivers a 0-62 miles per hour acceleration in 3.0 seconds flat and 0-124 miles per hour in just 9.1 seconds.

However, security camera footage emerged showing his friends torching the Italian supercar and before long, the 20-year-old was in court claiming he didn’t have any money at the time of the attempted insurance fraud.
