Steelers LB James Harrison Calls NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell A ‘Crook’
James Harrison wants his meeting with Roger Goodell to be televised.

Oh, and he also called Roger Goodell a “crook”. He said the league’s investigation should be transparent, and open to the media.
ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported Harrison would meet with the league on August 28 at team headquarters with stipulations for the interview, including that questions be limited to the brief reference to Harrison in the Al-Jazeera video.
The NFL issued a letter this week to the NFL Players Association threatening to suspend Harrison, Green Bay Packers linebackers Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers and free-agent linebacker Mike Neal if they did not talk to the league by August 25. Harrison, who called Goodell a “dictator”, “puppet” and other names in a 2011 Men’s Journal interview, originally said he wanted the commissioner to conduct the interview at Harrison’s house. I mean, that’s just the CBA that the players signed.
“Whatever evidence they think they may have or reasoning for questioning me is out of my control”, Harrison told reporters at Heinz Field, via ESPN. “I don’t see why we couldn’t have the media there [at the interview], do it live”. That way I’ve been prosecuted and persecuted, you know, in the media by them for something that I didn’t do.
The Packers do not have a practice scheduled for that date, making it arguably the best time for the players to conduct the interviews.
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker and occasional child-thrower James Harrison says that not only is he willing to meet with National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell over the All-Pro’s alleged PED use as reported by Al Jazeera, he wants to invite more people to the get-together: everyone in the world.
Harrison clearly feels like he has nothing to hide in this situation. “I wouldn’t be on the team”.
Harrison said he would not shy away from any question Goodell might ask.

And then you can do a three-hour special leading up to the actual trial, just like the schedule release. “I’m not going to answer questions for every little thing some Tom, Dick and Harry comes up with”.
