Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton campaign buttons are made available at a political rally during Democrats Day at the Illinois State Fair Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, in Springfield, Ill. “Part of the reason I like him is he does say things that are not scripted”.

Trump did not say which specific controversial comments he regrets or give an apology.

Speaking Thursday, Trump did not specify what he regretted and did not directly apologize to anyone.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign said there was nothing honest about Trump’s contrition. She had nothing to say.

Just three days ago, Donald Trump told a CBS affiliate in Wisconsin, “I don’t want to change …”

Opinions about how Clinton might do as president are not as negative. Terrorists and risky criminals: kept out. Trump had planned to retain Manafort as campaign chairman, but the veteran consultant opted to leave instead.

“All they hear are insiders fighting for insiders”, he said. “I have done that”, the GOP nominee, reading from prepared text, said at a rally in Charlotte, N.C. Thursday night. “So I understand people have some questions”, Clinton told black voters at a June luncheon in Chicago.

Ukrainian lawmaker on Friday divulged more details of what he said were payments made to Donald Trump’s campaign chief in the USA presidential race by the political party of the Kremlin-backed former Ukrainian leader Viktor Yanukovich.

The new and improved Donald Trump.

Clinton’s campaign, meanwhile, brushed off the speech off as just words he read from a teleprompter.

Trump also blamed some of the controversy over his missteps on the media, which has become a regular punching bag for the Republican candidate.

Trump has struggled so far with women, minorities and young voters. Last month he turned down an invitation to address the NAACP annual conference in Cleveland.

The change in tune comes on the heels of a major campaign shake-up that included the hiring of new CEO Stephen Bannon – who previously headed up the alt-right site Breitbart News – and the promotion of pollster Kellyanne Conway to campaign manager.

The probe is also examining the work of other firms linked to the former Ukrainian government, including that of the Podesta Group, the lobbying and public relations company run by Tony Podesta, brother of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. He’s repeatedly drawn fire for levying intensely personal attacks on figures like Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is overseeing the Trump University lawsuit, and Khizr Khan, a Muslim who condemned Trump at the Democratic National Convention.

“He’s dialing in”, Dalson said.

Asked why he thought he was thrown out, Anantha said, “I do think it’s because I’m brown. I think now he’s starting to weave it in really well to where it seems more natural”.

“It takes a lot of strength to say, ‘I’m sorry, ‘ to admit – not that he was wrong, but he wished he hadn’t done it”, said Cindy Ammons, 70, a Trump supporter from Spindale, North Carolina. That’s all replaced by bright color images in Donald Trump’s America, with shots of the border being tightly patrolled by helicopter. “Look at him. He’s taking third-party advice”.
