Manafort leaves Trump campaign
“Nobody understands how bad it is”, Trump told reporters, after briefly helping unload a truck of supplies while cameras captured the moment. It is really incredible.

The 2016 presidential campaign continues to play out like a Christopher Buckley novel gone completely off the rails, perhaps most implausibly in Paul Manafort’s role in the Russia-friendly Donald Trump campaign.
Manafort leaves the campaign amid a rising number of news reports about his past work for pro-Russian political elements in Ukraine, including stories of millions in secret cash payments that Manafort has denied.
The New York Times published an article about ties of Manafort with former Ukrainian leaders. “Paul is a true professional and I wish him the greatest success”.
Manafort ended up taking over the campaign two months ago after Lewandowski was sacked when he became a distraction to the candidate over a string of high-profile fights. Trump had repeatedly rebuffed Manafort’s urgings to run a conventional election campaign, refusing to spend money on either television advertising or campaign organization in the so-called battleground states, the dozen or so states that have been competitive between the Democrats and Republicans over the past half dozen presidential elections.
Furthermore, he is being outgunned by the Clinton campaign in fund-raising and foot soldiers in the most critical key states for November, and Trump’s ability to convert huge rallies into grass-roots politicking and voter turnout across the land is yet to be tested.
The New York businessman brought Manafort into the campaign in March to organize the Republican nomination, including the prospect of a delegate challenge by “Never Trump” opponents.
But the Clinton camp also found itself on the defensive for the first time in weeks.
But Trump supporter Rep. Doucette said he delights in overconfidence from the Clinton camp.
“Nearly four in ten African-American children are living in poverty”.
Mrs Clinton took to Facebook to explain her own absence by saying that while her “heart breaks” for Louisiana, “right now the relief effort can’t afford any distractions”. He kept to his vacation schedule on Martha’s Vineyard, though the White House announced he would visit Baton Rouge on Tuesday. Aides have noted Obama is receiving regular updates on the conditions. “And that has been one of the problems of the Trump campaign, frankly, up until now”, Gerow said. The decision suggested to some that Trump might ramp up the divisive rhetoric that has angered minorities and alienated large swaths of the electorate. A new campaign manager and executive were named earlier this week.
The hard-hitting spot touts Trump’s plan to crack down on illegal immigration and halt some refugee programs.
Speaking in Dimondale, Michigan, on Friday with the use of a teleprompter, Trump stayed clear of much of the hyperbole that has been a hallmark of his campaign.
In his remarks, Trump struck a new, inclusive tone and tried to appeal directly to non-white voters, who have so far resisted his candidacy.
“We encourage them to turn out and vote down ticket and do what they think is best at the top of the ticket”, she said.
His Gotta Be Me declaration on Wisconsin television signaled the predicable end to the effort by veteran operative Paul Manafort to “pivot” the crude and free-swinging victor of the 2016 Republican primaries away from the style with which he rolled over a bunch of weak sisters.
Clinton seems more than content to let Trump dominate coverage on cable news and in national newspapers.
In a highly uncharacteristic move aimed at resetting his struggling campaign, Donald Trump has said for the first time that he regrets some of the caustic comments he’s made that may have caused people pain. “I have done that”, Trump confessed.
