Prey Trailer Offers Glimpses at Alien Abilities, GLOO Cannon
Along with the Dishonored 2 gameplay released earlier, Arkane Studios and Bethesda have released another short gameplay demo of the upcoming Prey.

The new gameplay teaser video for Prey is the first time we’re seeing actual in-game footage that isn’t bits and pieces thrown into a general teaser video. All the while, the player must fight off aliens that have taken control of the space station. Set in 2032, players are cast as Morgan Yu – the test subject of some “morally dubious experiments” – who attempts to find out the truth behind the massive, alien-filled Talos 1 while trying to survive.
It shows off the direction that Arkane Studios is going with Prey, keeping some of the familiar sci-fi elements but also mixing things up with new weapons and powers. The “Glue Gun” freezes the enemies in place which is then followed up by the use of the “Superthermal” ability to blow up multiple enemies in one shot. It’s one of the abilities, Mimic Matter, which is all the cooler since it allows Morgan to take the shape of inanimate matter. What awaits you aboard Talos I?

Prey is due out in 2017 and will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
