Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz jaw at UFC news conference, throw water bottles

The UFC has returned to Las Vegas this week for UFC 202, and the promotion has rolled out the “Embedded” treatment for a preview of Saturday’s pay-per-view event at T-Mobile Arena. So Diaz started without him. Diaz beat McGregor by submission in the second round of a w.

Johnson has won 11 of his last 12 fights with eight of those 11 wins coming by way of knockout.

It’s a known fact that the two hate each other, which saw the duo clash as the UFC 202 press conference, whilst McGregor turned up late, which aroused suspicions from fans and journalists. Saturday’s rematch was announced in June. A poor takedown attempt in desperation by the featherweight champion allowed Diaz to easily get in a choke and secure the win.

Speaking to Off The Ball’s Ger Gilroy, Helwani says that McGregor may lose some of his bargaining power if he suffers another defeat at UFC 202 but that nothing is certain when it comes to the Irish fighter.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz are just days away from facing off in the octagon for the second time in their careers, and the bad blood keeps flowing. White quickly replied, “He’s on his way”. An agitated McGregor began cursing at Diaz and his team.

McGregor: “He should have killed me when he had the chance”.

If you’re in the United Kingdom and looking to watch the match online, live from Las Vegas, you’re going to need a BT Sport subscription. You know it’s going to be a show, so forget all of this other crap and this timekeeping and stuff. I think that the thing with Conor is that he sensed his mistakes and he texted me after the fight and said that he basically looked past him – that he kind of didn’t take the fight too seriously.

Diaz then went off-stage, before bringing out his team and unleashing a tirade of abuse towards McGregor, before Nate through a water bottle towards the Irishman, who retaliated.

As McGregor was answering questions, Diaz stood up and left the stage, and he and his entourage moved to leave the theater. Police and security separated the two groups and the news conference ended.
