‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The Veto Ceremony (and aftermath) you’ve

WARNING: This post contains Big Brother spoilers from the Live Feeds. Or as ageless host Julie Chen called it, “the craziest night of the summer”. In fact, it’s a must to anticipate the sudden in this game. It seems like some of the other players are just starting to realize how big of a threat she can be. Clay and Shelli were down to backdoor Austin, but they flip-flopped toward saving him because they got spooked about losing a number on their team.

– Quote of the episode: “I’ve worked Black Friday…I can deal with Vanessa”. However, what Becky doesn’t know is that the house has been conspiring behind the scenes to possibly evict Shelli instead of Vanessa.

But you can’t con a con and Vanessa was rightfully suspicious. Recognizing Vanessa for the deeply manipulative player she is, Becky wants Vanessa out – no matter what she has to do to make it happen. Host Julie Chen announced to the contestants following Shelli’s departure that it was a “double elimination” night in that the next Head of Household would have to immediately nominate two contestants for eviction.

Fortunately, Shelli recovered enough to keep playing the game. Will Vanessa be able to save herself?

She out-ratted “rat” Becky by revealing that the HOH was leaking key information from the James Huling, Jackie Ibarra, and Meg Maley nameless alliance to enemies Clay Honeycutt and Shelli. The original plan was for Shelli to be targeted for eviction, but a new plan has since emerged, and another backdoor eviction is seemingly on the way. Becky affirms it will be Vanessa and she vents to Steve. There are some cleaning things around the house wonder if they will be doing a handful of that stuff today. Awkward. The twins feel safe this week, but they should be anxious about Vanessa.

James found out and was not impressed. I love it. Becky has now become my third favorite HG in the house behind James and Johnny Mac.

And with a vote of 8-0, Shelli was shown the door. She goes over what to tell Austin. With Becky in power, we’ll finally see where her true allegiance lies. We have to deal with Shelli crying over Clay.

It was sad to watch. Steve is officially the person I despise most on this season.

Fast forward to present time, and Becky was officially declared the new HoH.

Now it’s time for you to let me know what you think about tonight’s eviction! Meg and James have a semi-partnership with each other that was weakened by the eviction of Jackie, while Steve and John have utilized a fluctuating partnership with whomever keeps them alive from week to week.

Steve won the Power of Veto on Saturday, allowing him to take himself off the block.

The game is exciting again!

It’s a shame because Jackie’s no-nonsense approach in the house, infectious laugh and humour will be missed. I was secretly hoping for a moment that James would have considered removing Clay from the block and nominating Vanessa or Liz.

Vanessa in the end had the second-worst time, only behind Shelli, who admitted to having no strategy going in. This HOH competition is an open race. This leads to Vanessa to have a meltdown between Clay and Johnny Mac, unable to decipher the truth that’s laid out in front of her. She refuses to believe that John could possibly see the way she has acted in the past and pieced together that he was her target on his own.
