Jesy Garcia, 49, of Newark was the woman killed on the No. 13 bus when it was T-boned by another bus at Raymond Boulevard and Broad Street, her daughter, Irma Garcia, told NJ Advance Media.

Scenes from the accident show a t-bone crash, where one bus was almost split in half, and the second suffered significant damage to the front.
The intersection where the crash occurred was the first in the state to have a surveillance camera to catch drivers running red lights.
Two Starbucks workers, who were opening the store less than a block away, said they heard the crash and ran to help the injured.
“We believe all of those passengers will be OK”, said Trucillo. About 17 of the 20 passengers on board were injured, Snyder said.
Nineteen passengers were wounded and seven of them have been transported to nearby hospitals in serious condition.
“By the grace of God, we’re praying for all of the folks that are in the hospital, that they get a speedy recovery from this tragic accident this morning”, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said.
Photos from the scene show one of the buses appears to have “t-boned” the other, splitting the second bus almost in half.
Petrain says she saw people with head and leg injuries.
The red light camera program ultimately expanded to about two dozen towns and cities in New Jersey before it was discontinued in 2014 amid controversy and lawsuits. The crash occurred at the intersection of Broad St. and Raymond Blvd.
Police closed streets for blocks in every direction from the accident, causing traffic jams throughout much of downtown.
Video from news helicopters showed the two tangled buses came to rest on a median.
Several emergency and officers are now on the scene.

The driver of the No. 59 bus was killed in the crash and several passengers were hurt, NJ Transit said.
