Palestinians wounded in clashes with Israel army

In the clashes that followed, the IDF troops shot and killed a teen, identified by a local hospital as Mohammed Abu Hashhash.

It was one of the most brutal attacks in the almost yearlong wave of Palestinian assaults that killed 34 Israelis.

Since October past year, tension between Israel and the Palestinians has been growing, with figures showing 220 Palestinians and 40 Israelis been killed.

Dr. Waleed Zalloum, the general director of the Hebron Governmental hospital, said 38 Palestinians were moved to the medical center, and that a lot of them were shot in their legs, thighs and arms.

Soldiers responded with small-calibre live fire and rubber bullets and tear gas.

The raids come as the Israeli military has been increasing its operations in the West Bank in order to root out Palestinian terrorists.

According to Shin Bet, Hindi was initially recruited by Hezbollah via Facebook and later given instructions by email.

One of the groups in the Palestinian city, Qalqilya, was specifically instructed to carry out an attack on the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Shin Bet discovered in cooperation with the IDF and Israeli police.

The West Bank terror cells, which received Hezbollah funding, planned to conduct suicide bombings and ambush Israeli army patrols in the West Bank, according to the Shin Bet.

Also Tuesday, Israeli forces demolished eight homes and shacks built without permits in the Palestinian town of Saer, near Hebron. Others died during clashes and protests.
