Clinton Unveils Economic Plan, Derides Trump’s Tax Cut Proposal
There are many reasons why Donald Trump won’t release his tax returns, but the common thread through them all is that his tax returns will reveal that Donald Trump’s presidential campaign is built on a mountain of lies.

The real estate mogul’s campaign said that Clinton’s move to release her tax returns “is nothing more than an attempt at distraction and misdirection”. Taking into account their state and local taxes, the Clintons had a total effective tax rate of more than 43 percent.
The Clintons have disclosed tax returns for every year since 1977.
The filing shows that the Clinton’s paid a federal tax rate of 34.2%.
Hillary Clinton is expected to sharply attack Donald Trump in her first full rejection of his economic plans on Thursday, ripping into her Republican rival’s policy agenda as little more than proposed government handouts to benefit the super wealthy – and his own interests.
The IRS has said Trump can release his tax returns even while under audit.

In 2015 the Clintons made US$1m in charitable contributions, mostly to the Clinton Foundation; former president Bill Clinton brought in almost US$5.3m in speaking fees; and the former secretary of state reported income of US$3m for her book on her tenure at the State Department.
The power couple reported earning $10.7 million in income in 2015, and claimed a tax liability of $3.6 million.
When asked about his taxes at the time, Nixon willingly released the returns that had been under audit: “I welcome this kind of examination, because people have got to know whether or not their president is a crook”.
Mrs Clinton gave dozens of paid speeches in 2013, 2014 and 2015 but gave this up before launching her candidacy for the White House in April 2015.
Hillary Clinton has released her and her husband’s 2015 tax return, and it shows that they donated 9.8% of the gross income to charity.

Trump turned a deaf ear to calls from his critics for his tax returns at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, a key swing state where he is lagging behind Clinton in the polls. Clinton resigned his position past year.
Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) during his soapbox speech at the Iowa State Fair said Clinton is someone he could work with behind the scenes.

Clinton called for establishment of a $25 billion government funded infrastructure bank to create jobs for 10 million workers to carry out a massive public works program to fix crumbling roads, bridges and airports.
