Matthew McConaughey’s Personal YouTube Channel Has Gone Viral!
With 58,823 subscribers and just over a million views, we can’t help but wonder why this channel has been shrouded in such secrecy – surely Matthew’s infectious desire to do well in the world should be viewed by all!

He might be an internationally famous Oscar victor but Matthew McConaughey has failed to crack the social scene with his verified YouTube account. This, despite the fact that the account-which he’s had for years, damn it!-is literally his name with a checkmark next to it, and features a number of videos of him being very Matthew McConaughey at the camera for extended periods of time. Numerous videos had a lower than expected number of views.
The channel, which began making the rounds after it was shared by Redditor S1icedBread on Thursday, contains exactly five videos posted between September 2014 and May 2016.
McConaughey’s personal videos weren’t made to talk about himself, but the topics that he choose to speak about deserved wider attention than they’ve been getting.
The Oscar victor posted his first video in September 2014 in which he promoted the I Am Waters Foundation to help raise children out of homelessness (shown above). McConaughey’s second video was a quick thank you to fans who took part in a “Giving Tuesday” charity event.
Now that people know that McConaughey has a YouTube channel, perhaps he’ll update it more frequently. “We still ha…”, they’re meant to raise money for the Just Keep Livin’ and I Am Waters foundations. And if he wants to post more trailers, too, we’re not gonna have a problem with that!
