More rain was forecast for the Bristol area throughout the night.

The race was called a little after 11 p.m. and, weather permitting, will resume at 1 p.m. Sunday.
With a 50 percent of rain for Sunday, the race could be stop-and-go like the 48 laps raced on Saturday.
The start was delayed more than an hour, then NASCAR officials threw the red flag to halt things 38 laps in as the rain would not let up.
Rookies Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney are second and third, respectively. NASCAR resumed drying efforts, even getting cars back on-track at one point, but it was to no avail as another storm arrived on the half-mile oval. The field will return to Bristol on Sunday to complete the final 452 laps of the scheduled 500.
The 8 p.m. start was delayed more than an hour, then the race was red-flagged for almost 90 minutes after 38 laps.

Busch passed Elliott for the lead on Lap 23, as drivers were able to find speed in both the inside and outside lanes of the.533-mile high-banked concrete short track.
