The statue was removed by New York City Department of Parks & Recreation employees.

New York City Parks Service removed the statue of Donald Trump built on Union Square.
Four other Trump statues appeared in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Ohio.
Monroe, who reportedly has a background in designing monsters for the movie industry, was invited to produce the anti-Trump monuments by an activist art group called INDECLINE.
The Donald’s statue depicts a stern-faced Trump, his hands folded over a bulging belly.
The orange-tinted statue-featuring a massive belly, small fingers and missing some genital parts-were simultaneously unveiled in downtown Manhattan’s Union Square Park and public places in the four other United States cities.
A life-sized statue of Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump-completely in the buff-appeared overnight attracting plenty of attention from camera-wielding passersby.
The project, dubbed “The Emperor Has No Balls”, was inspired by demagogues throughout history who made a habit of erecting statues of themselves in public places.
In July, someone placed a tiny border wall around Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.
“NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small”, he stated.
Mayor Bill de Blasio was asked about the statue at a press conference Thursday. “When he’s wearing cloths I don’t like him”.
A collective of guerrilla street artists, Indecline recently claimed to have created the largest work of illegal graffiti in the world, but its members work anonymously.
That rage, he said, is one of the reasons he won’t mind seeing the statues destroyed by police or dismantled by angry Trump supporters like a silicone piñata.
This isn’t the first time that Trump’s naked, micro-endowed figure has been used for an artistic statement.
Reese said she decided she needed to come and take a photo of the statue when she saw the story online.
